ASHIXC Jewelry Care Guide
Anti-tarnish. Not anti-everything.
Every ASHIXC piece has an anti-tarnish finish, so it resists dulling and discolouration better than regular imitation jewellery. The finish lasts longest when you look after it.
Keep it fresh
- Perfume first, jewellery last. Perfume, deodorant, hair gel and sanitiser are the main things that break down the finish.
- Wipe after wearing. A dry microfibre cloth removes sweat and skin oils.
- Dry it if it gets wet. Occasional splashes are fine. Pat it dry, and don't leave it damp.
- Store it in the box or pouch. Keep it dry, and keep chains from tangling or scratching each other.
- Skip the harsh stuff. No bleach, polish, toothpaste or scrubbing. If it needs a clean, use a soft cloth with plain water and dry it fully.
By piece
- Chains and necklaces: Store flat or hanging, never knotted. Loosen tangles gently with a pin.
- Bracelets and cuffs: Don't bend cuffs to fit, because forcing them cracks the finish.
- Pendants: Don't tug the bail or sleep in them.
- CZ and stone pieces: Dry soft cloth only.
What the finish doesn't cover
Damage from chemicals, heavy sweat, prolonged water exposure, or rough handling, and normal wear over time.
